Ironman in the News

Sometimes, just for fun, we use Google to search for Ironman in the news. Normally, that turns up news articles related to those Ironman triathlons, where exceptionally fit athletes run marathons, swim and bike for miles all in a one-day race.

Today though, we couldn't resist sharing some of the headlines we came across - just pretend they're all talking about Political Calculations' Ironman. Our comments follow the real news headlines in italics....

Ironman not for the 'normal'

Yes, it's true. Ironman is for the 'extreme outlier.' (As if you regular readers didn't already know that!)

Tempe works to clear lake for Ironman

Bow down before me, people of Tempe! Your town lake is but my private swimming pool, and I need you to get all those leaves out....

Meet the $8m Ironman's prized asset

Well, hello!

Are you Ironman enough to pony $10000?

If you are, send those checks to Ironman at Political Calculations. Ironman will find a nice pony to put them on!

Oracle Ironman and other super heroes

Don't worry. We won't let the super hero thing go to our heads. We're really just mild-mannered fortune tellers. Except for the people of Tempe. You can get started on scrubbing those beaches next....
