Carnival of the Capitalists: The "Top 20"

According to TJ of TJ's Weblog, who reduced the some 45 contributions this week down to the 20 listed. Well worth reading on any week are the following:

  • Will Franklin's WILLisms looks at Galveston, Texas' living laboratory results in private retirement accounts for city workers. I've previously linked to Will's post in looking at the results of a different study commissioned by opponents of reform that revealed that PRAs will provide superior benefits compared to the traditional Social Security program over time.

  • Tim Worstall, who is always worth reading regardless of whether he makes someone's perception of the "20 best" or not, offers a post this week on Solving Global Warming.

  • I've been periodically checking in with Ashish Hanwadikar's Ashish's Niti since he frequently offers great perspectives on India's path toward becoming a great economic and world power. This week, Ashish focuses on the U.S. economy-based question in asking Is the Trade Deficit Harmful?

It may just be me, but this week's Carnival seemed awfully light in covering the blogosphere's view of the world of business, economics and finance. I am very much looking forward to next week's Carnival, which should provide much more content, and will be hosted at Gongol.com.
